Six out of hundreds ‘needy’ students who are under Prophet Austin Liyabunya scholarship in various Universities across Africa, have graduated with flying colors at the Adventist University in Nigeria.

In an interview, the six could not hide their excitement for achieving their academic goals courtesy of the charismatic prophet.

Noel Msimuko, a Malawian young man who studied clinical medicine at the University described his achievement as a milestone for uplifting his families social economic status.

“I was on the verge of withdrawing from the academic journey. If not for the providential intervention of the prophet, my dreams could have been shuttered. I’m thankful for his kind gesture,” said Noel, first born in a family of eight.

The other five shared the same narrative, describing their success as a weapon for turning things around in their families.

Prophet Liyabunya has been running the scholarship for two years now, according to separate findings and he vows take this initiative to many needy students across Africa and beyond.

In an interview, the ‘man of God’ confirmed having the scholarship and said, it is one of his Evangelical strategies.

“Evangelism must be in all forms. Spiritual and physical. It has been observed that most people who are struggling to fend for themselves loose hope and fails to concentrate on spiritual evangelism. We need to meet their physical needs first, before preaching to them,” said the senior prophet.

He added: “this is just part of my philanthropy. I’ve a wide variety of such holistic deeds. Together with my partners we’re geared towards universal salvation.”

The Maverick preacher who is in Malawi for a prophetic tour further called for concerted efforts from well wishers in his pursuit for poverty eradication in church.

He further lamented that the rumours that he does charitable works to gain political attention are untrue. He said that he knows the altitude of other politicians who, he described as his traitors, are sponsoring people to attack him on social media, “such behaviors are retrogressive to achieve mutual good in the country.”

The South African based, Malawian man of God’ recently urged all Malawians to keep on praying for former President, Her Excellency Dr Joyce Banda for unspecified prophecy.
